First Relations With
Arabians |
Thanks to the attack of Transoxiana, for the
first time the Muslim Arabians (Tazik) were mentioned in the Orkhun Inscriptions. The name
Tazik (by the Turks, lately used for the Iranians: Tacik), Iranians called Arabians as
Tazi (an Arabian tribe called Tay) should be related to the forces of Mühelleb, the
general governor Khorasan, who set up quarters in the city of Keş in that time. It
appears that the force under the Inal's command was left there for an Arabian attack, but
the army of Mühelleb did not do any action.
