Sultan Tugrul Bey ascended the throne in Nisabur and reorganised the order and
organisation that had been broken down due to the political changes. Pursuant to these
reconstruction activities, he attempted some conquests. In the course of this movement, he
subdued firstly the regions of Taberistan and Curcan and the local dynasties in these
regions such as Ziyari and Baverdi people (1041-42). In the following year, Ibrahim Yinal
invaded the city of Rey and captured Hamedan from Kakuyi dynasty. Then, Sultan Tugrul Bey
came to Rey and declared that this city was the capital city of the country and ordered
the fulfilment of the public improvements in the city. Afterwards, Tugrul Bey and the
Seljuk Princes, Ibrahim Yinal, Kutalmis, Kabvurd and Yakufi captured the other cities and
regions of Iran without any pains.
