mature thinker. He wrote more than seventy books. His book named Marifetname, the most
famous of all, is an encyclopedic one containing information about his period. Erzurumlu
İbrahim Hakki aimed at informing the people about the things around them, then themselves
and God at last. The chapter titled Kıyafetname in the book is a kind of etiquette
science. Erzurumlu İbrahim Hakkı had learnt Mysticism and East Philosophy in his small
environment. He had put forward merging of things, birth of life, development of species
with a brand-new opinion with his deep thought. For him, God first "created some
essence out of his divine light and then created all universe gradually with order; This
is called First Essence".
In his opinion, all
existence is in the form of a sphere. "Wherever you look in the universe, you see
circles" "In the sky and on the ground, all forms we observe are round".
Einstein, showed this idea by mathematical means after him. His book named Marifetname,
which gained much importance in people's view, was published for several times.
Erzurumlu İbrahim
Hakki passed away in 1771.
