Tertep TurksThey live in Bashkiria and the Republic of
Tataristan as well as in the neighbouring provinces. They are composed of a branch of
Idyll-Ural Turkish Tatar group.
Kundur Turks
Having emigrated from
the Caucasus, they live in the delta of Idyll (Volga) river and the city of Astrahan
located in this region. They are composed of a Turkish tribe similar to Nogay people and
their population is unknown.
Miser Turks
Miser Turks who are a
branch of Idyll- Ural Tatars live mostly in Tataristan and the Autonomous Republic of
Bashkiria as well as in the neighbouring regions of Udmurt, Mari Autonomus Republic and
the regions of Saratov and Samara.
